Maine Deputies Seek Driver Who Illegally Passed Stopped School Bus
CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Maine — The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying a driver who was caught on video illegally passing a stopped school bus with its flashing red lights activated.
Authorities posted footage of the incident on social media and are urging anyone who recognizes the vehicle, dealership plate, or driver to come forward.
Tips can be submitted by calling dispatch at 207-893-2810 or by emailing tips@cumberlandcounty.org.
Passing a stopped school bus is a serious offense in Maine and can endanger the lives of children boarding or exiting.
