Pupils worked together to push a giant volleyball over the net during a sports day match.

Footage shows the excited youngsters scrambling towards the towering ball and heave it to their opponent in Sabah, Malaysia.

The inflatable was light but its size made it hard for the players to control it.

One of the teams scored but when the right-side team strayed away to follow the object to the far corner of the court.

The same thing happened to the left-side team but they successfully took over it.

Event-goer Erlandson Keith Subin said: 'The giant volleyball sport was so funny. It was one of the games that everyone enjoyed.'

Giant volleyball is a variation of traditional volleyball played with an oversized ball, usually much larger than a standard ball. It is often used for fun, team-building exercises, or physical education classes.
