May 19, 2025 Following an investigation by the central unit in the Shi'ite district, a resident of the village of A-Ram (35) will be charged with murdering his Israeli partner while she was giving birth. On 01.04.25, a report was received in the Palestinian Authority about the burned body of a young Israeli woman, with a baby attached to her by the umbilical cord, in the village of A-Ram. Upon receiving the serious incident, the commander of the Israeli-Palestinian Defense Forces, Major General Moshe Pinchi, assigned the investigation to the central unit, and a complex investigation was conducted for many weeks, ultimately leading to the arrest of the main suspect – the baby’s father. The investigation shows that the suspect murdered the woman while she was giving birth, set her body on fire, and then sold her car. Yesterday, after gathering evidence, a prosecutor's statement was filed against the suspect, and in the coming days a serious indictment will be filed against him, charging him with the crime of aggravated murder.
