Siblings Reunite While Sister Is in the Hospital
Occurred on May 4, 2025 / Houston, Texas, USA
Info from Licensor: "In August, our 3-year-old daughter Abby was unexpectedly diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Her treatment will last about 2.5 years, and we’re currently facing some of the hardest days. A recent complication left her septic with E. coli and klebsiella due to her severely weakened immune system from chemotherapy. She’s been in isolation, undergoing blood and platelet transfusions to help her recover.
One of the most emotional moments came when Abby reunited with her 6-year-old brother, Connor, after 10 days apart. They’re incredibly close, and the video of their reunion captured the pure love between them. I had originally shared it on TikTok just for family, but it’s resonated with so many. I’m grateful it’s brought awareness to childhood cancer and the critical need for blood donations—something that has truly helped save Abby’s life.
We’re based in Houston, Texas, and Abby is receiving care at Texas Children’s Hospital. We’re hopeful that if she continues to grow stronger over the next 10 days, she’ll be able to resume chemotherapy. Until then, we’re focused on healing, hope, and holding our little fighters close."
