Bakersfield, United States - May 21, 2025 05/20/2025 07:16 pm GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Emergency responders, including the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Kern County Fire Department, California Highway Patrol and Hall Ambulance, were dispatched to the intersection of Manor Avenue and China Grade Loop for reports of a two-vehicle traffic collision. Firefighters extricated one patient from a gray sedan with major injuries, while five children and two adults in a white SUV sustained significant injuries. Hall Ambulance transported the patients to various hospitals for treatment. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the collision. Witnesses at the scene reported that the gray sedan ran a red light; however, the investigation is ongoing.
