The state of Karnataka has reported 16 active COVID-19 cases sparking health concerns.

Footage on a flight to Bangalore from Patna shows no COVID-19 precautions being mandated.

The announcement comes amid growing concerns over rising Covid infections in parts of Asia, particularly Singapore and Hong Kong.Health officials say the majority of these infections are mild and do not require hospitalisation.
