Mother's ethereal DIY meteor shower leaves her kids in awe
Recently, a viral trend has swept the internet involving a fascinating experiment that uses vitamin B2 to create a meteor shower effect. Many users have eagerly tried the mesmerising DIY project.
A mother from Shandong, China, also shared her version on social media, where her two daughters were left in awe by the magical sight.
The experiment is simple and only requires a few common items: vitamin
B2 tablets, a clear glass, water, and a phone flashlight or regular torch.
To perform the experiment, the vitamin B2 tablet is crushed into powder and poured into the glass of water. When illuminated from below with a flashlight, the riboflavin in the vitamin B2 emits a glowing fluorescence.
As the powder slowly drifts downward, it creates a dazzling effect that resembles a meteor shower streaking across the night sky.
