Local officials declared a state of emergency following the incident. Stavropol Krai Governor Vladimir Vladimirov stated that the damaged building is expected to be fully restored within two weeks. The Russian Investigative Committee reported that the explosion occurred in an 18th-floor apartment on Tukachevsky Street. Preliminary findings indicate that the blast was caused by a gas-air mixture ignition. Among the injured is the 37-year-old apartment owner. All victims are receiving medical treatment.
