A stretch of farmland was submerged as heavy rain caused flooding in Kansas.

Footage captured by Jacob shows an inundated agricultural area with flashes of lightning amid heavy rain on Monday, May 19.

Jacob said: 'Crops are starting to flood on Highway 160 in Kansas. These videos were about 6-8 miles northwest of Kismet. Small hail was also on the road.'

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for Kansas City on Monday evening until early Tuesday.
