Resident finds snakes curled up inside his air con unit
This is the terrifying moment a resident found snakes curled up inside his air conditioning unit.
The homeowner had attempted to fix the faulty appliance when he opened the latch and discovered two golden tree snakes nestled inside in Vinh Long, Vietnam.
Footage shows the green reptiles slithering in the tight space on May 20.
The snakes were reportedly removed from the unit and later released into a nearby forest.
The man recalled that the device had not been properly emitting cold air, prompting him to check the air conditioner's filter.
He said that the snakes had entered through a pipe connected to the back of the inverter and were likely lounging inside to cool off during the hot weather.
Golden tree snakes are mildly venomous, rear-fanged reptiles, but they do not pose a significant threat to humans.
