Zookeepers try to break up fight between two kangaroos
This is the dramatic moment zookeepers tried to break up a fight between two kangaroos in China.
Tourists witnessed a fierce standoff between the two seemingly enraged male marsupials in Shandong province.
Upon seeing the brawl, visitors reportedly alerted zoo staff, who rushed to intervene on April 16.
Footage shows the roos punching, kicking, and grappling as two zoo workers attempted to break up the clash using a long bamboo stick and a broom.
The animals can be seen hopping around while continuing their skirmish.
Moments later, the fight came to a halt, with the two males standing apart, intensely staring at each other.
Male red kangaroos are highly territorial and often engage in boxing matches to establish dominance within their group. Their powerful hind legs can deliver kicks with a force of up to 759 pounds.
