Local enchanted by 'glowing' golden carp in mountain pond
On May 17, in Luoyang, Henan Province, Mr. Wang discovered a golden-glowing carp in a pond within the Qingyao Mountain Nature Reserve. The carp shimmered with a radiant golden hue, its scales emitting a natural glow, making it highly noticeable as it swam in the water.
Mr. Wang said that it was the only glowing carp in the pond. The sun was very strong at the time, so the glowing effect might have been caused by sunlight reflecting off the fish’s scales. He had never seen anything like it before and found it quite magical.
