Heavy rain triggered a landslide in China, leaving 10 people missing.

Footage shows debris from uprooted trees, flooded roads, and partially submerged houses as intense downpours lashed Guizhou Province on Thursday, May 22.

Local media reported that two separate rockslides occurred around 3 am and 9 am.

The first was in Changshi Town, where two locals are believed to be trapped, and another was in Qingyang Village, Guowa Township, Dafang County, where several individuals are also thought to be buried.

Officials said initial estimates indicate that more than 10 people are unaccounted for.

Emergency responders have arrived at both sites to carry out search and rescue operations.
