This is the adorable moment a mischievous baby elephant gave her brother a gentle shove - toppling him during a playful tussle.

Sulwe and Lenny, both five months old, are infant elephants being raised by the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

In the video, Sulwe, the younger but larger of the two, gently nudges Lenny, sending him tumbling into the dust.

The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust posted alongside the video: "We suspect Sulwe has been planning this little coup for quite some time. "

"After toppling her ‘brother' Lenny, she makes a speedy exit to celebrate her victory."

Sean Michael, Director of Communications at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust said: "They were just being playful. "

"This is how they behave every day. "

"Baby elephants often bicker like siblings; it's a way of being playful and light-heartedly trying to establish dominance."

Despite being a few weeks younger, Sulwe is the more dominant of the two and doesn't hesitate to stir up trouble.

Sean said: "They're both mischievous. "

"Sulwe just doesn't suffer fools gladly."

The pair are closely bonded with their mothers, Sonje and Lima Lima, who keep a watchful eye on their antics but typically let them sort out their own games unless things get out of hand.

Sean said: "Elephant babies have incredibly strong bonds with their mums and nannies."

"Their mothers usually let them sort out their squabbles unless things get serious, which is rare."
