US, Los Angeles: Vermont Square Dog Dies In Structure Fire
Los Angeles, United States - May 22, 2025 05/22/2025 12:18 am GMT-0700 VERMONT SQUARE, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire on the 4400 block of Vermont Avenue. Firefighters arrived to find smoke billowing from a one-story, single-family home. Crews launched an aggressive attack and quickly located the fire. A total of 30 firefighters worked to extinguish the flames, bringing the blaze under control in just 13 minutes. Tragically, a dog was found deceased in the building. Firefighters requested that the sanitation department remove the deceased animal. The cause of the fire remains unknown, and no civilian injuries have been reported.
