Phoenix, United States - May 22, 2025 05/22/2025 01:00 am GMT-0700 Phoenix, Ariz. – According to the battalion chief at the scene: Phoenix and Glendale Fire crews responded to reports of a house fire near the 1500 block of West Kerry Lane. Crews arrived to find an exterior fire that had extended into a residential structure. Crews quickly confirmed that all occupants of the home (two adults and one child) had safely evacuated before the arrival of fire crews. Crews deployed hose lines and began working to extinguish the exterior fire while additional crews entered the residence. Once inside, crews found smoke and fire in the attic space. Ladder crews made their way to the roof and cut holes for ventilation. A ladder was deployed to the gable end of the attic space, allowing crews to deploy a hose line through a vent. The interior flames were successfully extinguished a short time later. No injuries were reported, and Phoenix Fire Crisis Response crews are working to provide resources to the displaced occupants. Fire investigators have been dispatched to the scene.
