US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield Vehicle Crash Leads to DUI Arrest With Injuries
Bakersfield, United States - May 23, 2025 05/22/2025 07:55 pm GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Emergency responders from the California Highway Patrol, Kern County Sheriff, and Bakersfield Fire Department were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash at the Fastrip gas station at the intersection of Niles Street and Mount Vernon Avenue. One patient suffered moderate to major injuries and was transported by Hall Ambulance to a nearby hospital. California Highway Patrol officers at the scene confirmed that the male driver was arrested on felony charges for suspicion of driving under the influence after failing a field sobriety test.
