Phoenix, United States - May 24, 2025 05/23/2025 11:30 pm GMT-0700 TEMPE, Ariz. – According to Tempe Police Lieutenant Erik Hernandez, officers were called to a house in the 3300 block of South Ventura Drive for reports of a person bitten by a dog. When officers arrived, they located three victims who a dog had mauled during an attack. During the attack, one of the victims attempted to shoot the dog, but it is unclear if the gunfire struck the dog. The dog was isolated and contained in a bathroom in the house. Tempe Fire Department and Medical personnel were called to the location and transported the three victims to a local area trauma center with serious injuries. Police are investigating the incident and say there is no active threat to the community.
