WASHINGTON — One man’s mission to spread joy went airborne — sort of — as he donned a full inflatable tube man costume and brought unexpected laughter to the streets of the nation’s capital.

Sporting the iconic blue and red getup — complete with flailing arms and windblown wiggle — the man made his way near Washington landmarks, entertaining passersby with every wobble. It wasn’t a DIY project either — the costume was the real deal, complete with battery-powered inflation to keep the fun fully puffed.

Crowds cheered, recorded videos, and snapped selfies as the human tube man bounced and bopped to his own beat.
