Army Parachutists Soar in Indy 500 Pre-Race Jump
SPEEDWAY, Ind. — Sgt. 1st Class Jonathan Lopez of the U.S. Army Parachute Team joined fellow parachutists in a precision demonstration jump on May 25 as part of the pre-race activities for the Indianapolis 500.
The demonstration thrilled fans at the iconic racing event, showcasing the skill and discipline of the Army’s elite parachutists as they landed on target at the speedway.
The jump served as both an exciting spectacle and a salute to service members during the Memorial Day weekend.
