Flood bursts through wall and swamps cars and motorcycles on road
A powerful flood broke through a wall, inundating cars and motorcycles on a road in Indonesia.
CCTV footage shows a black SUV driving through a waterlogged road just seconds before a concrete barrier collapsed, sending fast-flowing, murky water surging onto the street.
Two parked motorbikes were immediately swept away, with one crushed by debris in Pasar Minggu District, South Jakarta.
Vehicles in the area quickly reversed as the floodwaters rose on Wednesday afternoon, May 21.
Mohamad Yohan, Head of the Data and Information Centre at the Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency, said: 'The warehouse wall collapsed because of the strong flow of overflowing river water.'
Authorities have urged the public to remain alert as extreme weather continues to affect the country.
