US, Phoenix: Phoenix Firefighters Battle Raging Mobile Home Fire
Phoenix, United States - May 24, 2025 05/24/2025 05:30 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix Fire Department crews and Phoenix Police responded to reports of a mobile home fire near 27th Avenue and Polk Street around 5:30 a.m. Officers arrived at a mobile home heavily involved in flames and immediately began evacuating nearby residents. Phoenix FD crews arrived moments later and deployed multiple hose lines for fire attack. The assignment was balanced to a working fire, drawing additional Phoenix FD resources to the scene. Crews worked quickly to knock down the main body of fire while additional crews worked to protect nearby exposures. Fire control had been declared, and Phoenix Fire arson investigators were at the scene working to determine the cause. UPDATE: Phoenix Fire Press Release: Crews were dispatched to the area of 27th Ave and Van Buren for the reports of a trailer that was on fire around 5:30 a.m. Crews arrived on scene to a fully involved trailer fire. They quickly secured a water supply and pulled handlines and fought the fire in a defensive posture from the exterior. The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time and investigators are on scene. There are no reported firefighter injuries at this time.
