A homeowner used a bucket to toss a snake out of his house.

Thitipong Siri caught the Oriental Rat Snake slithering inside his home in Rayong, Thailand.

He used the small rattan container to temporarily trap the serpent on May 20.

Footage shows Thitipong carefully moving the basket toward the doorway.

Moments later, he flicked the woven vessel, sending the reptile out onto the patio.

The seemingly startled animal frantically crawled away towards the grassland, escaping to safety.

The Oriental Rat Snake is a non-venomous reptile that can grow up to 6.6 ft (2 m) in length.
