Tower crane collapses killing three at construction site in China
This is the dramatic moment a tower crane collapsed, killing three workers at a construction site in China.
The towering structure gave way, sending the workers plunging to their deaths in Zhang County, Gansu province.
Dramatic footage shows metal scaffolding, concrete, and debris crashing down the side of the under-construction high-rise on the afternoon of May 25.
Local media reported that the victims were on the unstable crane when it suddenly collapsed.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the incident, and construction work has been suspended in the meantime.
