VARIOUS SHOTS OF WROCLAW STADIUM / PREPARATIONS AROUND STADIUMWROCLAW, POLAND - MAY 27, 2025: Preparations are underway at Wroclaw Stadium as it gears up to host the UEFA Europa Conference League final between Real Betis and Chelsea on Wednesday. Located in the city of Wroclaw, the stadium opened its doors in 2011 and is known for being one of Poland's largest sports venues, with a capacity of 42,771 spectators. Built for the UEFA Euro 2012 tournament, which Poland and Ukraine jointly hosted, the stadium held its inaugural event in September 2011: a heavyweight boxing title match between Tomasz Adamek and Vitali Klitschko. The first football match played at the venue was between Slask Wroclaw and Lechia Gdansk. Slask won the match 1-0, with Johan Voskamp scoring the first-ever goal at Wroclaw Stadium. This year marks the first time that the stadium will host a European Cup final.
