Shoppers crowded outside a shop to buy Labubu dolls in California.

Footage shows an employee asking customers to line up properly on April 25.

She said: 'I would like to open the store at 10 am and I need an order.'

However, the buyers complained that the queue had been jumbled when she asked them to move to a different spot.

Some claimed they had been in line for at least two hours, hoping to get the popular plushie.

Labubu is a mischievous monster character from the 'The Monsters' toy series by Hong Kong designer Kasing Lung.

The pieces, manufactured by Hong Kong-listed Pop Mart, are often released in limited editions and can be highly sought after by collectors.
