This is the shocking moment a bungling babysitter crashed a golf buggy through a glass door.

The nanny was about to take a young girl to a nearby convenience store using the electric vehicle when she accidentally accelerated towards the house in Pathum Thani, Thailand.

Footage shows one of the nannies carrying a baby while standing in front of the sliding door on May 14.

She can be seen talking to the worker manoeuvring the three-wheeler, as the novice driver attempts to reverse out of the garage with her employer's eldest daughter sitting in the passenger seat.

Moments later, the vehicle sped toward the glass panel, prompting the quick-thinking babysitter inside to move away just seconds before it slammed into the door—narrowly avoiding injury to herself and the child.

The glass barrier detached from its frame, with shards scattering across the living room.

The mother, who was on a phone call, and her two other children, who were in another room, heard the loud crash.

She then shouted out and rushed to see what had happened.

The teenager in the vehicle reportedly sustained only a minor cut on her shin from the shattered glass, while the house sustained minor damage, mostly to the glass door and the front room.
