JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. — A bobcat that wandered into a Ken Caryl home proved unfazed by modern tactics during a recent encounter with sheriff’s deputies.

According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the feline intruder cozied up behind the homeowner’s television, prompting a creative attempt by deputies to coax it out using the green lasers on their TASER devices.

The bobcat, however, appeared unimpressed and ultimately strolled out the open back door at its own leisure.

“Cats and dogs chase laser pointers, but this bobcat was not impressed,” the department wrote in a Facebook post, adding that “some intruders just aren’t dazzled by our high-tech tricks.”

No injuries were reported, and the bobcat safely returned to the wild.
