Muslims from around the world continue to perform rituals in the holy city of Mecca, fulfilling the religious obligation of Hajj. As part of a media initiative organized by Saudi authorities, international journalists were granted access to the iconic Royal Clock Tower, offering a rare panoramic perspective of the pilgrimage. From the observation deck, journalists filmed the Grand Mosque and the masses of worshippers circumambulating the Kaaba. Farhah Ruslan, a correspondent from Malaysia’s Bernama News Agency, expressed awe at the sight, saying, "It is a great experience.” The Royal Clock Tower, inaugurated in 2011, stands as the third-tallest building globally and a defining landmark of Mecca’s skyline. Located adjacent to the Grand Mosque, the 120-floor structure features the world’s largest clock face, visible from kilometers away. The tower complex includes a five-star hotel, a shopping center, and a museum, serving both pilgrims and visitors. Writing by Sibel Uygun
