Lod, Israel - May 29, 2025 A serious crime was thwarted following the arrest of a cell of armed criminals consisting of three suspects from the Ramat Eshkol neighborhood of Lod, following covert field activity against criminal organizations in the city. Investigations revealed that the suspects were on their way to commit a crime stemming from a dispute between criminal families. During a search of the neighborhood, a Taurus pistol and ammunition hidden inside a refrigerator were seized. Two family members (an adult and a minor) were also arrested on suspicion of possessing weapons.
