Recently, at the Baoshan Qian Wildlife Zoo in Linyi, Shandong Province, a humorous scene unfolded as two male peacocks simultaneously fanned out their tail feathers in an attempt to court a female.

The two white male peacocks positioned themselves on either side of a black-feathered female, showing off their dazzling plumage and graceful moves in hopes of winning her attention.

However, the female peacock seemed completely uninterested in the “mating show.” She kept her head down, pecking at the ground for food, as if to say, “You do your display, I’ll enjoy my meal.”

A visitor who filmed the scene said it was the first time they'd seen two peacocks trying to court at once — perhaps the female just didn’t think either was good enough.
