The long history of the Rosamunde Pilcher romances continues unabated, with location filming now taking place in the royal new town of Nansledan, Newquay, Cornwall, UK. This picturesque location is typical of the scenes used as a backdrop to the romantic tales. The FFP New Media GMBH film crews have a semi-permanent base in Newquay from which they travel to film locations throughout the Cornish countryside and towns. Every summer, the crews return like the migrating Swallows. The Rosamunde Pilcher based films are one of the longest running shows on German TV. The ongoing popularity of the TV series brings thousands of German tourists to the country every year. Having now completed "Our holiday" a new production is here underway, featuring an unlikely romance between a Female chimney sweep and an eligible and handsome suitor.
