GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - MAY 29, 2025: Relatives gathered at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis on Thursday to bid farewell to the victims of an Israeli airstrike that targeted an aid distribution center in southern Gaza’s Rafah city. The attack, carried out by Israeli forces, killed multiple Palestinians and left families in deep grief as they received the bodies of their loved ones. The Israeli army, rejecting international calls for a ceasefire, has pursued a brutal offensive against Gaza since October 2023, killing more than 54,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
