South Sudan: Chinese peacekeepers in South Sudan mark Int'l Day of UN Peacekeepers
Storyline: The 15th Chinese peacekeeping engineering contingent to South Sudan (Wau) attended a special event organized by the Sector West of United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) to honor the International Day of UN Peacekeepers which fell on Thursday. The event was participated by military personnel from the UNMISS, and civil personnel from troop contributing countries and bases. It was held to pay tribute to the peacekeepers who have given their lives in the cause of peace and showcase the incredible contribution of the peacekeepers to safeguarding world peace.
