A local fruit vendor organised a fun Thai Fruits Festival event, where shoppers could scoop up all their favourite fruits using a basket provided. For a price of 59 Baht (less than $2) they can take away all that they can fill into the basket. And also those who fill their basket to the tallest height of fruit can win a free durian fruit. It was really fun to watch this and see the great excitment that these shoppers experienced. I wanted to join in the fun myself, but I didn't have time. I hope to go back in the next few days and see how much fruit I can scoop up!
