US, Los Angeles: Vermont Square Hit-and-Run Hydrant Crash
Los Angeles, United States - May 31, 2025 05/31/2025 12:57 am GMT-0700 VERMONT SQUARE, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles Police Department responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a fire hydrant in the 1200 block of West Vernon Avenue. First responders arrived on the scene and found a Tesla that had crashed into a light pole and fire hydrant. Water was gushing from the hydrant, reaching an estimated height of 100 feet. It took approximately 15 minutes to shut off the flow of water. The driver of the Tesla fled the scene.
