Quick Flatfoot Test

Wet your foot (you can use water or paint) and step onto a clean, dry sheet of paper. Lift your foot and examine the footprint. If the bridge between the front and back parts of your foot is more than 50% of the total width, you should consider seeing a doctor, as this may indicate flatfoot. If the upper part of the print is completely filled in, this also suggests flatfoot—just a different type. Normally, the upper part of the footprint shows two pads with a noticeable arch between them.
