Dhalea Governor Ali Muqbel Saleh announced on X that the reopening of the key international road between government-held Aden and Houthi-controlled Sana marked a long-awaited development for thousands and was broadly welcomed by citizens across both the north and south. The reopened highway reduces the travel distance between Sana and Aden from over 600 kilometers to approximately 360 kilometers, facilitating trade and easing humanitarian access across the country. The Houthi group also confirmed the reopening of the road via Saba News Agency, describing it as an initiative aimed at alleviating citizens' suffering. Writing by Aleyna Cil
