US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield Pedestrian Struck And Killed
Bakersfield, United States - June 01, 2025 05/31/2025 10:27 pm GMT-0700 Bakersfield – A man was struck and killed by an unknown vehicle near the intersection of Brundage Lane and Bliss Street shortly before 10:30 p.m. Saturday. The adult male was located in the roadway suffering significant injuries, according to the Bakersfield PD. Medical aid arrived and ultimately pronounced the pedestrian deceased. Authorities are currently investigating the incident, which is being treated as a hit-and-run. It was revealed in the preliminary investigation that the man was walking in the roadway near the north shoulder when he was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound on Brundage Lane. The area was closed off to facilitate the investigation. Both Bakersfield police officers and City Fire Department personnel responded to the scene.
