VARIOUS OF FANS CELEBRATING IN STREETS, WAVING FLAGS AND CHANTING SLOGANS PARIS, FRANCE - JUNE 1, 2025: Paris Saint-Germain celebrated their UEFA Champions League victory with an open-top bus parade through the streets of Paris on Sunday, June 1, following their 5–0 win over Inter Milan in the final held in Munich. The victory parade passed through the iconic Champs-Elysees avenue, where thousands of fans lined the streets to cheer for the team and celebrate the club’s first Champions League title. PSG players and staff greeted the crowd from atop the bus, holding up the trophy and waving flags as supporters sang and celebrated together. At least two people were killed and more than 500 arrested in France during celebrations after the final match, according to local media on Sunday. A 23-year-old man riding a scooter died after he was hit by a car during celebrations in Paris, BFMTV reported, citing the Paris prosecutor’s office. A 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death during the celebrations in the southwestern town of Dax, it added. During the celebrations across the country, 192 civilians, 22 law enforcement officers, and seven firefighters were also injured, according to the broadcaster. Some 559 individuals, including 491 in Paris, were arrested, it added.
