VARIOUS OF PEOPLE SIGHTSEEING ON ROOFTOPS, ENJOYING CITYSCAPEROTTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - JUNE 1, 2025: Rotterdam has opened access to 40 rooftops across the city as part of its 10th annual 'Dakendagen' festival, inviting the public to explore urban spaces from new heights. Organized by the Rotterdamse Dakendagen Foundation, the “Rooftop Days” festival allows residents and visitors to explore flat rooftops transformed into green public spaces, offering views of the city’s skyline and architectural diversity. Some rooftops also hosted special activities and performances such as film screenings. At the Maritime Museum, a temporary staircase led visitors to a rooftop installation where they could enjoy panoramic views before sliding down a giant slide.
