Hailstorm causes flash floods on street in Austin
Shocked drivers stayed in their cars as ice pellets pounded their roofs during a hailstorm followed by a flood.
Footage shows the hailstorm clanging against the top of the vehicles and windshields, creating a defeaning noise in Austin, Texas on May 28.
The heavy downpour affected visibility on the expressway so the motorists had to slow down.
When the rain had stopped, the road users then had to travel through deluge.
Resident Michelle Ross said: 'Austin hail and then flood on Mopac and Anderson at 6:25 pm.'
