Motorcycle rider pulls over to help pensioner pull his bicycle
A kind motorcycle rider stopped his work to help a pensioner pull his bike up a hill.
Footage shows the deliveryman fixing a rope to the back of the elderly resident's bicycle in Rizal, the Philippines.
The cable was tied to the back of his motorbike while the other end was attached to the front of the old man's handlebars.
Onlooker Michael John Bascon said the Good Samaritan offered to do it, risking being later for work, when he saw the local struggling to pedal through the road on May 28.
He said: 'While I was waiting for a ride, I saw this driver who stopped when he saw an elderly man on a bicycle carrying vegetables that looked heavy.
'The driver offered to pull him along. He took a rope from the box on his motorcycle and tied it to the old man's bike because the road they were taking was uphill towards Antipolo, and it's a pretty steep climb.
'I guess the rider was thinking that it was getting dark, the old man's bike didn't have any reflectors, and cars often speed up that way.
'Hats off to you, brother. With everything that's happening in the world, there are still people with kind hearts who are willing to help, whether in big or small ways.
'This also reminds us to extend help to anyone in need, without expecting anything in return. The world is healing.'
