Bulgaria: Protest against Euro currency
Sofia, Bulgaria - May 31, 2025 A protest against the adoption of the euro took place in Sofia and several other towns across Bulgaria. In the capital, supporters of preserving the lev (Bulgarian national currency) took to the streets. The demonstration in Sofia began with a rally on Independence Square, where several thousand people gathered.
