This is the shocking moment an out-of-control car rammed through a shopfront in China.

Five men were playing cards inside the Leyan Tobacco and Liquor Store when the red hatchback suddenly slammed into the shop in Inner Mongolia.

CCTV footage shows the vehicle slamming into the glass panel, sending shards flying across the store on May 14.

The table collapsed from the impact, while the stunned group stood frozen in disbelief.

The force of the crash also dislodged the shop's front door, causing it to fall to the floor.

In another clip, the car can be seen with a shattered windscreen and visible damage to the front.

Police later revealed that the female driver had accidentally accelerated while reversing to park, causing her to crash into the storefront.

No one was reported injured in the incident.
