LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police Department officers responded to crowd activity along Bardstown Road over the weekend with a heightened presence, but still made three arrests after a fight broke out early Sunday morning.

Despite officers stationed nearby, a physical altercation occurred within feet of the police detail. Officers quickly intervened, breaking up the fight and dispersing the crowd. LMPD reiterated its commitment to maintaining order and safety in the area.

“We're not going to make arrests unless we have to… if someone's fighting in front of you, hook them up,” an officer is heard saying in the video, moments before the incident.

LMPD encourages the public to continue supporting the businesses that make Bardstown Road unique but issued a clear warning: those who break the law will face enforcement.
