Bakersfield, United States - June 02, 2025 06/02/2025 06:57 am GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol responded to a three-vehicle traffic collision at the intersection of Merle Haggard Drive and Industry Parkway Drive. Emergency crews from the Kern County Fire Department used the Jaws of Life to extricate a male driver from a blue Mustang. Injuries sustained in the crash were reported as minor to moderate, with two patients transported to a nearby hospital by Hall Ambulance. The cause of the collision is under investigation, although witnesses at the scene alleged that the Mustang ran a red light. It is currently unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the incident.
