A husband helped his wife cross a stream to join the group near a waterfall, but he ended up slipping on wet rocks.

Footage shows Ajis Musthofa stepping on the water to guide his sibling to safety with his cousins in Central Java, Indonesia.

They all reached the bank where they admired the beauty of Kali Tung Tung Waterfall together, but Ajis wanted to get even closer to the cascading waters.

As he made his way along slippery ground, Ajis lost his footing and fell 13ft (4m) below on May 27.

His family quickly reached out to him to pull him back safely.

Ajis said: ‘My wife, my cousin, and I visited one of the waterfalls called Kali Tung Tung Waterfall.

‘Our intention was to capture moments at the waterfall, but unexpectedly, I fell.'

Ajis had minor scrapes and bruises on his thigh, but was not seriously hurt.
