VARIOUS OF PRO-PALESTINE PROTESTERS FORMING RED LINE OUTSIDE OF UK PARLIAMENT HOLDING BANNERS, FLAGS AND CHANTING SLOGANSLONDON, UK - JUNE 4: Thousands of demonstrators gathered outside the British Parliament on Wednesday, June 4, to protest the U.K. government’s continued arms sales to Israel, forming a symbolic red line with red clothing and fabric. Organized under the slogan “Red Line for Palestine” and supported by numerous civil society groups across the country, the protest aimed to draw attention to the U.K.’s role in the ongoing conflict in Gaza. The Israeli army, rejecting international calls for a ceasefire, has pursued a brutal offensive against Gaza since October 2023, killing more than 54,600 Palestinians, most of them women and children. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war crimes against civilians in the enclave.
