Los Angeles, United States - June 04, 2025 06/03/2025 08:32 pm GMT-0700 PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash at the intersection of San Fernando Road and Kagel Canyon Street. A pickup truck crashed through a Metrolink chain-link fence and crossed the train tracks, nearly falling into a nearby wash. Firefighters requested assistance from the Los Angeles Police Department after receiving reports that the driver of the truck was armed with a handgun. LAPD officers arrived on the scene and found civilian witnesses holding the suspect down on the ground. The officers were able to detain the suspect, allowing firefighters to safely enter the scene. Heavy rescue was also dispatched to help remove the truck from the train tracks, enabling Metrolink operations to resume.
